Tomorrow (90s rock/grunge classic)

-7 -7 -6 -7 -6 -7 7 -7 -6 6 6
It’s twelve o’clock, and it’s a wonderful day,
-7-7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -8 -877 -88-87
I know you hate me, but I’ll ask any-wa-ay,
-7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 7 7 7 -7 -6 6
Won’t you come with me, to a place in a little town,
-7 -7-7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -87 -6 6
The only way to get there’s to go straight down,
-7 -7 -7-6-7 7 7 -7 -6 6
There’s no bathroom, and there is no sink,
-7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -87 8 8 -8
The water out of the tap is very, hard to drink,
9 9 9 -8 8 -8
Very hard to drink,

-9 -9 7 7 -7 7 -8
You, wait til tomorrow,
-9 -9 7 7 -7 7 -8
You, wait til tomorrow,

-7 -7 -7 -7-7 7 7 -7 -6 6 6
You say that money, isn’t everything,
-7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -7 -8 -8 7 -66
But I’d like to see you live without it,
-9 9 -8 -8 -8 7 -77-8 -9 8 8 -8 7
You think you can keep on going living like a king,
-6-7 -7 -7 -7 -8 -8 7 -6 6
Oohh babe, but I strongly doubt it,

9 9 9 -8 8 -8
Very hard to drink,
9 9 9 -8 8 -8
Very hard to drink,

9 9 9 9 9 -8 -9
You gonna wait too, fat boy,
-8 8-9 -8 8 -98-77-87-66
fat boy, wait til tomorrow,
9 9 9 9 9 -8 -9
You gonna wait too, fat boy,
-8 8-9 -8 8 -9 8 -8
fat boy, wait til tomorrow,

You, wait til tomorrow,
You, wait til tomorrow,

You gonna wait too, fat boy,
Fat boy, wait til tomorrow,
You gonna wait too, fat boy,
-8 8-9 -8 8 -9 8 -8 7 -7 -5
fat boy, wait til tomorrow.

Wast-ed and wound-ed
-4 5 5 5 5 4
It ain’t what the moon did
4 -4 -4 -4 5 -4 43
I got what I paid for now
4 -5 -5 -5 -5 6
I see ya to-mor-row
-5 5 5 5 5 5
Hey, Frank can I bor-row
5 5 5 5 5 -4 -4
A cou-ple of bucks from you

5 -4 5 5 5 5 4
To go waltz-ing Ma-til-da
5 6 6 6 -5
Waltz-ing Ma-til-da
5 6 6 6 6 6 -5 5 -4
You’ll go waltz-ing Ma-til-da with me

4 -4 -6 -6 -6 -6 6 -5 -5 6 6 6 -55
I’m an in-no-cent vic-tim of a blind-ed al-ley
5 5 -5 -5 -5 -5 6 -5 5
And I’m tired of all these sol-diers here
4 -5 -5 -5 -5 6
And no one speaks En-glish
-5 5 5 5 5 5
And ev-‘ry things bro-ken
5 5 5 5 5 5 -4 -4
And my sta-cey’s are soak-ing wet

3 5 -4 5 5 5 5 4
But who’ll go waltz-ing Ma-til-da
5 6 6 6 -5
Waltz-ing Ma-til-da
5 6 6 6 6 6 -5 5 -4
You’ll go waltz-ing Ma-til-da with me

And the tax-i cabs park-ing
5 -5 -5 -5 6-5 -5 5-44
A lot they can do for me
4 -5 -5 -5 -5 6
I begged you to stab me
-5 5 5 5 5 4
You tore my shirt o-pen
5 5 5 5 5 5-4 4 -4
And I’m down on my knees to-night
-3 -6 -6 -6 -6 6
Old Bush-mills, I stag-gered
-5 6 6 6 5 4
You bur-y the dag-ger

Your sil-hou-ette win-dow light

Know I’ve lost my Saint Christ-o-pher
6 -6 6 5 4
Now that I’ve kissed her
5 5 -5 -5 6 -5 5
And the one arm ban-dit knows
4 4 -5 -5 -5 -5 6 -5
And the ma-ve-rick Chi-na man
-5 -5 5 5 5 5
and the cold blood-ed signs
5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 -4 -4
And the girls down by the strip-tease shows go

Waltz-ing Ma-til-da
Waltz-ing Ma-til-da
You’ll go waltz-ing Ma-til-da with me

4 4 -6 -6 -6 -6 6 -5
No, I don’t want your sym-pa-thy
-5 6 6 6 6 -5 5
The fug-i-tives say the streets
-5 -5 6 -5 5
Aren’t for dream-ing now
-5 -5 -5 -5 6
Man-slaugh-ter drag-nets
-5 -5 5 5 5 5 5 5
And the ghost that sell mem-o-ries
5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 -4 -4
They want a piece of the ac-tion an-y-how

To go waltz-ing Ma-til-da
Waltz-ing Ma-til-da
You’ll go waltz-ing Ma-til-da with me

4 4 4 -6 -6 -6 -6 6
And you can ask an-y sail-or
And the keys from the jail-er
And the old men in wheel-chairs know
That Ma-til-da’s the de-fen-dant
And she killed a-bout a hun-dred
And she fol-lows where-ev-er you may go

Waltz-ing Ma-til-da
Waltz-ing Ma-til-da
You’ll go waltz-ing Ma-til-da with me

4 4 4 -5 -5 -5 -5 6
And it’s a bat-tered old suit-case
-4 5 5 5 5 4
To a ho-tel some-place
4 4 -4 -4 -4 5 -4 43
And a wound that will ne-ver heal
-5 -5 -5 -5 6 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5

No pri-ma don-na, the per-fume is on an old shirt
5 5 5 -4 5 5 5 4
That is stained with blood and wis-key
4 4 -5 -5 -5 -5 6 -5
And good night to the street sweep-ers
-5 5 5 5 5 4 4
The night watch-men, flame keep-ers
4 4 -4 -4 5 -4 4
And good-night Ma-til-da too

Tom Joad

by: Woody Guthrie
Key: D

-5 7 -8 8 -8 -8 -7 -7 -6 -6 -6* -5
Tom Joad got out of that old Mc-A-les-ter Pen
-5 -5 7 -8 -8 8 -8 -8 -7
It was there that he got his pa-role
-5 -5 7 -8 8 -8 -8 -7 -6 -6* -5
Af-ter four long years on a man kill-ing charge
-5 -6* -6* -6* -5 -3 -4 -5 -6* -6* -6*
Tom Joad come a walk-ing down the road, poor boy
-5 -6* -6* -6* -5 -3 -4 -5 -5
Tom Joad come a walk-ing down the road

-5 -5 7 -8 -8 8 -8
It was there that he found him
-8 -7 -6 -6* -5
a truck driv-ing man
-5 -5 7 -8 -8 8 -8 -8 -7
It was there that he caught him a ride
-5 -5 7 -8 8 -8 -8 -7 -6 -6* -5
Said: «I just got loose from Mc-A-les-ter’s Pen
-5 -5 -6* -6* -5-3 -4 -6* -6* -5
On a charge called ho-mi-cide, great God
-5 -6* -6* -5-3 -4-5 -5
A charge called ho- mi- cide.»

That truck rolled away in a cloud of dust,
And Tommy turned his face toward home,
He met Preacher Casey and they had a little drink,
But they found that his family
they was gone, Tom Joad
He found that his family they was gone.
He found his mother’s old fashion shoe
Found his daddy’s hat.
And he found little Muley and Muley said:
«They’ve been tractored out by the cats,
They’ve been tractored out by the cats.»

Tom Joad walked down to the neighbors farm
Found his family.
They took Preacher Casey and loaded in a car
And his mother said «We got to git away.»
His mother said ‘We got to get away.»

Now the twelve of the Joads made a mighty heavy load
But Grandpa Joad did cry.
He picked up a handful of land in his hand
Said: «I’m stayin’ with the farm till I die.
Yes, I’m stayin’ with my farm till I die.»

They fed him short ribs and coffee and soothing syrup
And Grandpa Joad did die.
They buried Grandpa Joad by the side of the road,
Buried Grandma on the California side,
They buried Grandma on the California side.

They stood on a Mountain and they looked to the West And it
looked like the promised land. That bright green valley with a
river running through, There was work for every single hand, they
thought, There was work for every single hand.
The Joads rolled away to Jungle Camp, There they cooked a stew.
And the hungry little kids of the Jungle Camp Said: «We’d like to

have some too.» Said: «We’d like to have some too.»

Now a Deputy Sheriff fired loose at a man
Shot a woman in the back.
Before he could take his aim again
Preacher Casey dropped him in his track.
Preacher Casey dropped him in his track.

They handcuffed Casey and they took him to Jail
And then he got away.
And he met Tom Joad on the old river bridge,
And these few words he did say, poor boy,
These few words he did say.

«I preached for the Lord a mighty long time
Preached about the rich and the poor.
Us workin’ folks got to all get together,
Cause we ain’t got a chance anymore.
We ain’t got a chance anymore.»

The Deputies come and Tom and Casey run
To the bridge where the water run down.
But the vigilante they hit Casey with a club,
They laid Preacher Casey on the ground.
They laid Preacher Casey on the ground.

Tom Joad he grabbed that Deputy’s club
Hit him over the head.
Tom Joad took flight in the dark rainy night
A Deputy and a Preacher lying dead, two men,
A Deputy and a Preacher lying dead.

Tom run back where his mother was asleep
He woke her up out of bed.
Then he kissed goodbye to the mother that he loved
Said what Preacher Casey said, Tom Joad,
He said what Preacher Casey said.

«Ever’body might be just one big soul
Well it looks that a way to me.
Everywhere that you look in the day or night
That’s where I’m gonna be, Ma,
That’s where I’m gonna be.

Wherever little children are hungry and cry
Wherever people ain’t free.
Wherever men are fightin’ for their rights
That’s where I’m gonna be, Ma.
That’s where I’m a gonna be.

Tom Hark.football chant!

454 445-4 -45-4-3 -3-3-44 repeat aslong as you want.
6-55-4-34-44 finish. was a hit in the 50s for an African band I think.Elias and his
zig zag jive flutes.

Tom Hark (Diatonic)

A South African kwela band tune used by the BBC tv in the 50’s as
background music for a play, it was taken into the hit parade by
«Elias and his zig-zag jive flutes». Later in the 60’s it was done by
«Micky Finn and the Blue men» with a Bluebeat rhythm on Bluebeat
records in the UK. Oh!and yes there’s some football team, that has it
as their supporters battle hymn. On tabbing it comes out high on the
register so I have transposed it down an octavefor those who like
their harmonica playing lower. Best hear this on youtube, use any key
harmonica you wish.

Ring Tail Tom come off that fence
And they went ’round and ’round

Lord, he’s quick on the trigger
He’s a natural born crack shot
He got a new target every night
And he sure does practice a lot

He makes them roustabout
He makes them roll their eyes
They just can’t resist my Ring Tail Tom
No matter how hard they tries

You better watch old Ring Tail Tom
He’s running around the town
He won’t have no p*ssy cats
Come a-tomcattin’ around

Ring Tail Tom is the stuff
He’s always running around
All the p*ssy cats in the neighborhood
Can’t get old Ring Tail Tom down

He’s always running around
Just can’t be satisfied
He goes out every night
With a new one by his side
