A-mid the corn green

For my heart is filled with woe, with woe
. -6 7 8. -8 7 7..
Since Mag-gie went a-way.

[V2]
The sweet wild rose, the sweet wild rose,
That lov’d to see us there,
And seem’d to bid us hope, now droops,
And tells me to despair;
The linnet sings his song unheard,
Perched on a leafy spray;
Ah, my heart is filled with woe, with woe,
Since Maggie went away.

[V3]
The gentle flowers, the gentle flowers,
Their happy charm is fled,
And how they seem like blossoms strewn,
Above the silent dead,
They’re symbols now of sorrow deep
And life’s swift, sure decay;
Ah, my heart is filled with woe, with woe,
Since Maggie went away.

[V4]
The heartless sun, the heatless sun.
With splendour gilds the skies.
And mocks with smiling beams a heart
That now can only sigh.
Shine on, bright sun, shine on, while I
Could curse thy proud display,
For, my heart is filled with woe, with woe,
Since Maggie went away.

[V6]
Then welcome grief, then welcome grief
Man’s warm true-hearted friend,
For tho’ all things be false, thou still art
Faithful to the end.
And now I walk alone with thee,
Till life turns into clay
Ah, my heart is filled with woe, with woe,
Since Maggie went away.

is all my time to-geth-er.

Take the rug-ged sun-ny days,

the warm and rock-y weath-er.

Sinclair-visa

-6 -6 6 -5 -5 -7 -7 7 -6

Herr Sinclair dro over salten hav,

7 -7 -7 -7 7 -6 -6 66

til Noreg hans kurs monne stande;

7 -6 6 -5 -7 -7 -7 7 -6

blandt Gudbrands klipper han fandt sin grav,

7 -7 -7 -7 7 7 -6 6 6
der vanked så blodig en panne.

-5 -6 -5 5* -5-5 -7 -7 -7 7 -6 6 -5

Herr Sinclar drog over Bølgen blå,
For svenske Penge at stride;
Hjælp dig Gud! du visselig må
I Græsset for Nordmanden bide.

De Vover så sagtelig trille;

Det gjælder dit Liv så fage;

Altidens du spåer om Ulykker;

Med alt sit hyrede Følge;

ham fulgte fjortenhundre mann

all folkerett monne de krenke

Vi måe selv Landet forsvare;

i brede bygd tilsammen kom

Som man monne Kringen kalde;

Hist sigter gråhærdede Skytte;

Det første Skud Herr Sinclar gjaldt;

«Frem bønder, frem i norske menn,
slå ned, slå ned for fote!»

de ravner fikk nok at ete;

Since Ive Been Loving You

The midi file I linked to sounds great, but it does not contain the
vocal part. That’s good, too. You can play along karaorke style.

As files, I attached musical score with harp tab for the guitar part,
if antbody wants to have a whack at it. (I can’t play that stuff.) I
had software tab that. There are “unresolved” notes in there, so
you’ll have to work with it, some (Quite a bit). If somebody wants to
work with this score, eliminate a bunch of notes, simplify it, etc.
and submit it, that would be great!

The song is written in 3/4 time. I don’t know why the software

Since I Fell For You

By Buddy Johnson

When you just give love
-3* 4 -5* -6 -6
And nev-er get love
-3* 4 -5* -6 -6
You’d bet-ter let love de-part
-3* 4 -5* -6 -6 -5* -7*
I know it so
-7* 8 -7* 8
And yet I know
-7* 7 -5* -6
I can’t get you out of my heart
-5* -6* -6* -5* -6* -5* -6* -6

You
-7* (-5* 7 7* -7* -5* 7 7* -7*)
(My ad lib, I vary them)

Made me leave my hap-py home
7* -7* 8* -7* 8*-7*7* -7*(7*-7*7*-7*7*-7*)
(my ad-lib)
You took my love and now you’re gone
-5* -6* 7* -7* 7* -6*-6 -5* -5*
Since I fell for you
5 -5* -6 -5* 7

Love
-7* (-5* 7 7* -7* -5* 7 7* -7*)
(My ad lib, I vary them)

Brings such mis-er-y and pain
7* -7* 8* -7* 8*-7*7*-7*(7*-7*7*-7*7*-7*)
(my ad-lib)

I know I’ll nev-er be the same
-5* -6* 7* -7* 7* 7-6 -5* 5-5*
Since I fell for you
5 -5* -6 -5* -5*

It’s too bad
-5* -6* 7*
It’s too sad
-5* -6* 7*
But I’m in love with you
-5* -7* 7* -6* -5*4 -3*

You love me. Then snub me

I’m still in love with you

I
