And all the board-ers were out to make,

Hul-la-ba-loo be-lay.

There was a young fellow named Shallo Brown,
Hullabaloo, etc.
Followed me mother all over the town,
Hullabaloo, etc.

One day when me father was on the Crown,
Me mother ran off with Shallo Brown,

Me father said to me, “Me boy”
To which I quickly made reply,

Me father slowly pined away,
Me mother came back on the very next day.

men nog lever minnet kvar i Smålands sköna dalar,

Katthult, Lönneberga, det var den gossens hem.
-3-3 -4-466 -6 6 -5 5-4 4

Hujedamej sånt barn han var,
654-4 5 -5 -5 -5

ej värre tänkas kan,
-4 -3-3 4-4 5

och Emil var det namn han bar,
6 54 -4 5 -5 6 -6

vill ej ha gossar i?

Prostinnan tordes ej bli kvar
och mor hans föll i gråt.

Viljen I sen höra vad vår lilla Emil gjorde

Emil han red in i kort galopp i högtidssalen
den fina tårtan for

i hela Småland fanns

tjänade i Katthult uti sina unga dagar,
Sing-dudel-dej sing-dudel-dej
sing-dudel-dudel-dej,
sing-dudel-dej sing-dudel-dej,
hu-jeda-jeda-mej.

Kom opp! Kom opp frå den tronge dal,

Her blæs ein blåster så frisk og sval

How’s The World Treating You

I’ve had noth-ing but sor-row

5 -5 6 -5 5 -4
Since you said we were through

There’s no hope for to-mor-row

How’s the world trea-ting you?

Ev-‘ry sweet thing that mat’tered

5 -5 6 -5 5 -6
Has been bro’ken in two

-6 -7 7 -7 -6 -6 6

All my dreams have been shat-tered

-4 5 -5 5 -4 4
How’s the world trea-ting you?

Got no plans for next Sunday
Got no plans for today
Every day is blue Monday
Every day you’re away

Though our pathways have parted
To your memory I’m true
Guess I’ll stay broken-hearted
How’s the world treating you?

How You Like Me Now

Intro
-5 -5 -5
6 -5 -5 -5
6 -5 -5 -5 etc..

-4 -5 6 -5 -6 -4
Now there was a time
-4 -4 -5 6 -5 6 -6
When you loved me so
-4 -5 6 -5 -6 -4
I could have been wrong
-4 -4 -5 -5 6 -5 6 -6
But now you needed to know
-4 -4 6 -5 6 6 6 -6 -5 -4
See, I’ve been a bad, bad, bad, bad man
-4 -4 -5 6 -6 -4
And I’m in deep,
-4 4 -4 -5
Yes I am
-4 -4 -4 -5 6 -5 -6
I found a brand new love for this man
-4 -4 -4 -5 6 -5 6 -6
And I can’t wait till you see

-4 -4 -4 -4
So How you like me now? x4
6 6 6 -5 -6 -4
How you like me now? x3
6 6 6 -5 6 -6
How you like me now?

Remember the time
When I eat you up
You know that I wasn’t lyin’
that you can’t give up
So if I was to cheat
on you baby would you see right through me
If I sing a sad, sad, sad, sad song
would you give it to me

Chorus

-4 -4 -4 -4 -5 -4 4 -4
Does that make you love me baby
-4 -4 -4 -4 -5 6 -6 -4 5

-4 -4 -4 -4 -5 -4 4 -4
Does that make you love me baby

-8 8 7 8 9 9
St-ep one you say we
9 -8 -9 -9 -9
n–e–ed to talk.
-9 8 8 8 9 8
He walks, you say sit down
8 8 7 7
it’s just a talk.
8 9 9 -9 9
He smiles po-lite-ly
8 8 8
back at you.
8 8 8 8 -8
You stare po-lite-ly,
-8 8 7
right on through.
7 7 7 7 7
Some sort of win-dow
-8 -8 7
to your right.
7 8 7 7
As he goes left
-7 8 -7 7
and you stay right.
7 7 7 -8
Be-tween the lines
7 -8 7 -8
of fear and blame.
8 -8 9 -9 8
And you be-gin to
-7 -8 7 -8 7
won-der why you came.

7 9 -8 7 -8
Where did I go wrong,
-8 8 8 7
I lost a friend.
9 8 8 -8
Some-where a-long
-8 7 8 -8 -8
in the bit-ter-ness.
7 9 -8 7 -8
And I would have stayed
-8 8 8 7 7
up with you all night.
9 8 -8
Had I known
7 8 -8 7 7
How to save a life.

How To Handle A Woman (Camelot)

Music by Frederick Loewe
lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner:

“How to handle a woman?
3 4 3 -4 3 5 5
There’s a way,” said the wise old man,
5 6 -6 -6 -7 -6 6 5
“A way known by ev’ry woman
-4 5 5 -5 5 -4 5 6
Since the whole rigmarole began.”
-5 5 4 4 -4 4 -3 -4
“Do I flatter her?” I begged him answer.
-4 5 -5 -5 5 -5 -4 6 5 5
“Do I threaten or cajole or plead?
-4 5 -5 -5 5 -5 -4 -6 6
Do I brood or play the gay romancer?”
-6 -7 7 7 7 7 -7 -6 6 6
Said he, smiling: “No indeed.
-6 -7 6 6 -5 6 -4
How to handle a woman?
3 4 3 -4 3 5 5
Mark me well, I will tell you, sir:
5 6 -6 -6 -7 -6 6 5
The way to handle a woman
-4 5 6 -5 -6 -5 6 7
Is to love her…simply love her…
6 -5 5 6 -4 -5 5 6
Merely love her, love her, love her.”
-6 -5 5 6 -4 6 -3 4

How the west was won.(The Macahans)

This TV-series was a huge hit in Sweden in the seventies. It is still
running in one of the channels. It is still ok I guess, but one finds
it a bit humorous that everyone, good or bad had so brightly, shining
teeth…the theme is still very good.Enjoy!
